Delivery Questions
What time is the cutoff for same-day delivery?
Order before 4pm and we’ll hand-arrange and deliver your flowers that same day, seven days a week.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Yes, we deliver every day of the week, including Saturdays and Sundays, with the same 4pm cutoff for same-day delivery.
How much does delivery cost?
It depends on the suburb. Enter your postcode or suburb at checkout and the exact delivery fee is shown before you confirm your order, no surprises at the end.
What suburbs do you deliver to?
Our core zone covers North Sydney, McMahons Point, Kirribilli, Milsons Point, Lavender Bay, Waverton and the wider Lower North Shore, extending out across Sydney including the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Upper North Shore and Northern Beaches.
What if my suburb isn’t listed?
Enter your postcode at checkout regardless, we cover the rest of Sydney at a standard delivery rate that will be shown clearly before you order.
What happens if no one is home to receive the delivery?
Our driver will leave the flowers in a safe, shaded spot or with a neighbour where possible, and we’ll do our best to notify the recipient. For apartments, add any access or intercom details at checkout.
Do you deliver to hospitals?
Yes, including the Mater Hospital and other Sydney hospitals. Add the ward, floor and room details at checkout so we can find the recipient directly.
Can you deliver directly to a funeral service?
Yes, add the funeral home name, date and time at checkout and we’ll time delivery to arrive ahead of the service. See our funeral flowers guide for help choosing the right tribute.
Do you deliver to offices?
Yes, we regularly deliver to workplaces across Sydney. Add the company name and floor or suite details at checkout.
Can I schedule delivery for a future date?
Yes, choose from the quick-pick day options at checkout or use the calendar to select a specific date further ahead, useful for birthdays, anniversaries or Mother’s Day booked in advance.
Can I request a specific delivery time?
We take delivery date preferences at checkout, though exact delivery times cannot always be guaranteed, particularly on peak days like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Can someone overseas order flowers for delivery in Sydney?
Yes, you only need the recipient’s name, address and phone number. Pay securely by card from anywhere and your bank handles the currency conversion.
Can I change the delivery address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible. If the order hasn’t already been sent for delivery, we’ll do our best to update it.
What if I’m not sure what to send?
Choose Florist Choice or Designer Choice and tell us the occasion, budget and any colour preference. We’ll hand-arrange something that suits it from what’s freshest that day.
What if my order arrives damaged or isn’t what I expected?
Get in touch straight away, ideally with a photo. See our full Refund and Returns Policy for details on how we handle this.
Flower Availability & Substitutions
Flowers are a real, seasonal product, not everything is available every week of the year. Here is how we handle it when something you have ordered is not available.
What happens if a flower I ordered is out of season or unavailable?
Occasionally a specific bloom is out of season or unavailable on the day. When that happens, our florists substitute it with a similar flower of equal or greater value, matching the style, colour palette and overall feel of the arrangement you chose as closely as possible.
Will I be told if a substitution is made?
Substitutions are usually minor, a different variety of rose, for example, rather than a different flower altogether, so we do not always contact you in advance. If you have a strong preference or an allergy to consider, add a note at checkout and we will take it into account.
Does a substitution mean a lower quality bouquet?
No. Our substitution policy is never less, we always use a flower of equal or greater value, so the bouquet you receive meets or exceeds what you ordered, never falls short of it.
Why does flower availability change so often?
Fresh flowers come from seasonal growers, not a warehouse. Availability shifts week to week depending on weather, growing seasons and what is genuinely at its best that day, which is part of what keeps every bouquet fresh rather than sitting in storage. Peonies and tulips in particular have a shorter season than roses, if you are set on a specific bloom, ordering in season gives you the best chance of getting exactly what you pictured.
Can I request no substitutions?
Add a note at checkout and we will always try to accommodate it. For rare or highly seasonal flowers this may mean a short delay rather than an immediate delivery, so let us know if timing or the specific bloom matters more to you.
Do substitutions change the price I paid?
No. You pay the price of the arrangement you ordered regardless of any substitution, and substitutions only ever go toward equal or greater value, never less.
How Same-Day Delivery Actually Works
How is my order actually delivered on the day?
Once your bouquet is hand-arranged, we book a trusted courier, such as Uber or a similar on-demand delivery service, to get it to your recipient the same day. We keep our delivery fees affordable and standard across each zone, and where a same-day delivery genuinely costs more to arrange on a particular day, we absorb that extra cost ourselves rather than pass it on to you.
What happens if there is a delivery delay or issue outside your control?
Genuine courier issues are rare, but they can occasionally happen, a traffic incident, an accident involving the driver, or a courier who temporarily becomes uncontactable. These situations are outside our direct control once the flowers have left for delivery, and we cannot guarantee against every external circumstance.
That said, if something does go wrong with your delivery, get in touch as soon as you can. We will work with you on a fair resolution, whether that is a redelivery, a partial refund, or another outcome that makes it right, in line with our Refund and Returns Policy.
